This bird is stunning. The Hyacinth Macaw is a
parrot native to central and eastern South America.
With a length of about 100 cm (3.3 ft) is longer than
any other species of parrot. It is the largest macaw
and the largest flying parrot species,

I usually go for the less is more look but something
about this tile is beautiful. Maybe it’s the combination
of color, symmetrical pattern, and shapes contrasting
with the simple lines of the sink. They work well
together without appearing too busy. I just like it.
Beautiful Sculpture
Ai Weiwei, one of China’s foremost contemporary artists, has
taken his beautiful Forever Bicycles sculpture to Toronto.
Featuring 3,144 bicycles, the colossal structure is stunning.
Displayed in a night-time festival, it is spectacularly lit up
with pink and blue lights looking as if they are floating.
What a delight.

Beautiful Accident
I’m always taking accidental photos and usually I delete them
but this “accidental’ photo looked interesting to me…like brush
strokes on a canvas. I like the color and abstract quality.
I think I’ll keep this one.

Summer slips by too quickly so lately I’ve spent as many
nights as possible trying to catch the last glimpses before
it fades into oblivion. These are a series of photos taken
from Edmonds beach over the course of an hour at the
end of the day.
