ever invented. I so want one. The vibrant colors,
simple lines and textures are absolutely divine.

Systems
An international group of graphic designers respond
to the systematicity of Braun Design. Systems is an
exhibition of commissioned poster designs and ‘60s
Braun products. Braun gets graphic in this new series
of commissioned poster designs and ’60s Braun products
in its Systems exhibition. Thirty-four leading graphic
designers and studios were invited to produce a poster
design on the theme of Braun systems design.
From repetition and development to nostalgia and critique,
the response this project received is quite amazing and
offers just a snapshot of the international graphic design scene.

Beautiful School
Atelier 208 designed Pajot’s School canteen, located
in the town of Pontault-Combault, France. The
design of the building is the expression of its structure
and function. From a steel and concrete frame, the
envelope speaks through a child’s language and plays a
major role in the way children perceive the space.
The origami like roof folds and unfolds in order to
allow light to emphasizing imagination, creativity
and a certain ingenuity.
Beautiful Georgetown Neighborhood
My favorite neighborhood lately is funky
Georgetown. It has the added distinction
of being the oldest neighborhood in Seattle.
With its own unique identity — one that’s
“industrial bohemian chic”, it’s one of the last
few remaining authentic neighborhoods in
Seattle. I love the grittiness, old rail yards,
bars with live music, coffeehouses, art galleries,
quirky culture, fun hangouts and restaurants
serving a diverse, hipster-leaning set.
Hidden amidst the sprawling warehouses
is an oasis of humanity.
