Took an afternoon to see Gravity today
at the IMAX and couldn’t resist the scenery.
Movie was technically+visually spectacular
but I enjoyed photographing the arches
just as well.

Sonic Bloom is an LED sculpture at the entry
to the Seattle Pacific Science Center with a chorus of

5 flowers: 20’ diameter and up to 40’ tall. Steel, fiberglass,
custom photo voltaic cells, LEDs, sensors, interactive
sound system and energy data monitoring.

Summer 2013 leaves a beautiful trail across the sky (in sequence)
reminding me of the beauty of the universe we live in.
None of these photos has been altered or retouched,
taken in my backyard with a simple iPhone 4.
I love the streaks of color.
Myrtle Edwards Park at the end of the day; doesn’t get much better.
The unknown kid in the photo reminds me of Debussy’s quote,
“Music is the space between the notes” or perhaps it could read,
“Life is the space between random moments”.
Alas, summer is much too short.

The views here are spectacular- Golden Gardens is a very
appropriate name. A real gem!
