Seems to good to be true — you stop for gas, and find an oasis of pinot instead.
Napa has a new hot-spot, is Tank Garage Winery— an old vintage service station
transformed into a super cool wine country destination. It’s the perfect casual
road stop to try some new wine, take in the scenery or snap a few good photos.
Not a huge fan of wine in general, I’m more a of craft cocktail gal, but I love
the name, branding and use of old materials.

Beautiful Restaurant Interiors

Another beautiful restaurant by Space Copenhagen, this time transforming a former industrial oil warehouse in the old Christianshavn quarter for Noma’s Rene Redzepi’s new restaurant, 108. Featuring tall sash windows and high ceilings, the striking interior combines raw concrete, exposed brick walls, dark burnished metals and weathered timber. All of the work done by Space Copenhagen is beautifully designed and executed.

Will somebody please drop me off in this place and let me stay for awhile? It is gorgeous! Who really cares where it is but for those who do…at the heel of the Italian peninsula lies Puglia, a region best known for its Tuscan cuisine as well as its arid, rustic landscape on which a splendid display of whitewashed towns and villages highlights the scenery. The area produces much of the country’s wine, olive oil, produce, and wheat used to make pasta. The cuisine alone is enough to make me want to go. In the north, the mountainous terrain of Gargano greets the Adriatic with dramatic white cliffs overlooking azure waters, and as you travel down the coast, the view transforms into sand pebble beaches mingling between ancient farmland. At the southern tip lies the beautiful town of Lecce, known as “Florence of the South” for the splendor and profusion of its baroque architecture from the 17th Century.

Beautiful Blueberries

I love random excursions such as the Larsen Lake Blueberry Farm in Bellevue, WA of all places. A beautiful “off the side of the road” U Pick oasis in a residential neighborhood for blueberry lovers and for those, who like myself, love to meander every now and again.

I really wanted to sit on this swing all afternoon and meditate. Love the old pine wood.

Fields of blueberries where you can pick your own for hours on end but if
you are lazy like me you can purchase them onsite.

And little did I know that there were so many different varieties
of blueberries! I think I’ve only eaten one but for those who want
to know here is a list.

Emerald
Jewel
Misty
O’Neal
Sharpblue
Sunshine Blue

And speaking of blue, I am currently in LOVE with blue and in fact will be covering an old
chair in blue velvet. Here is some inspiration.
