While at an art festival today I ran into this wonderful
vintage school crossing sign made of metal in the hallway
of the community center. She looks awfully distressed but
I love the sign. Never seen anything like it.

One of the best views of Seattle is from Kerry Park atop Queen Anne Hill.
Doesn’t get much better than this unless of course Mt. Rainier is out.
On this day alas it was not. One of my favorite things to do to unwind
is climb the the stairs of different neighborhoods. Wonderful surprises
and discoveries arise from anywhere which is half the fun.

I visited Canarino Gelato in beautiful Edmonds today and I’ll soon return.

Had to laught at this…love the clever play with words.

Couldn’t help but smile back.
Smiley Face Barn behind 59er Diner
59er Diner, a fun blast-to-the-past with an authentic jukebox that actually works, what a gem.
Be sure to check it out if you are ever in the neighborhood. The milkshakes are the best!

Just love this retro Googie architecture, made me laugh.
Giant drive-in meal is on the roof of the building.
Wenatchee holds the Googie architecture crown
for the day. A must see if you are ever in the neighborhood.

I love to jog and take walks and one of my favorite places to do so is Greenlake.
A 3 mile loop with an endless stream of dogs, interesting people, and beautiful
natural environment. Every season is unique.
