What I love about fall, a time for renewal, a time to
reflect on what may lie ahead. Wet leaves, wood burning,
tastes and smells, pumpkins, apples, cider, fairs, the
glorious colors of fall trees, cool winds, sweaters,
best of all the unexpected.

Myrtle Edwards Park at the end of the day; doesn’t get much better.
The unknown kid in the photo reminds me of Debussy’s quote,
“Music is the space between the notes” or perhaps it could read,
“Life is the space between random moments”.
Alas, summer is much too short.

The best thing about summer is the long 16 hour days.
It allows time for me to spend late evenings at the beach
just watching the ferries and trains go by and
people watch. Simple pleasures at its best indeed.
It took some time for summer to arrive, many evenings
had dark, gloomy skies which made for some
interesting cloud formations over Puget Sound.
I love the dark midnight blue.
